Pat McDonald translates his ideas into a reality for others to view and understand. His work encourages contemplation by the viewer. It is a journey of personal discovery based on individual experiences. Every viewer takes away something different from the same piece.

McDonald’s sculptures are as much about the process it took to create them as it is about the final product. “DaVinci’s Wing” is a sculptural interpretation of DaVinci’s Wing, the influence of the masters is recreated with cold, hard steel and an entirely new work reflects this artist and his own personal history. Much of McDonald’s work has used a steel and concrete construction. Here he takes rugged, hard elements and provides something elegant.
