Jennifer Meyer’s approach to her work is that nothing is truly devoid of potential, value, or beauty. “Cluster of Poppies” demonstrates to the viewer that even though something has been used, discarded, rejected, orabandoned, that does not mean it has lost its significance. All you need to gain is a new perspective, a little time, and some attention.

All of Jennifer’s sculptures exemplify this reincarnation of past lives. She invites the viewer to connect with the sculpture and reflect on what they consider to be discarded. Through reflection perhaps we can become more thoughtful about personal reuse.
