Boyan Marinov reminds us of the intricacies of the human body by creating the human form out of thousands of pieces of steel. Whether using chains, links, or hand-cut steel fragments, he welds them together to create a sleek figure that is appreciated for the whole, not the sum of its parts.
With outstretched arms “Leap” is daring and sure. A diver slicing into water, swimming in air, never falling. We can see the certainty and share in the optimism that is on full display.
