Terry Karpowicz continues to delight us by defying the laws of balance. His work combines cast iron, granite, river rock and concrete and, yet, manages to create a stately beauty. When we approach his work we are never surprised to see the juxtaposition of the pieces. His joining of disparate materials seems effortless. The craftsmanship that makes that possible is Terry’s own hallmark. In addition to creating large-scale sculptures, Terry has served on selection committees and as installation manager for internationally known artists.

Terry Karpowicz is committed to public art. His works are in public and private collections, he is the recipient of numerous grants and awards, he participates in lectures and has shown his work in many group and solo exhibitions.
