Nicole Beck brings beauty to art and science. Her works are mechanisms and contrivances that play with refractions in light, space and time. Nicole creates pieces that feature steel forms but there is nothing that seems simple or heavy. Her works reach for the sky and bring the light to us through various prisms. These works, while made with steel, incorporate custom made lenses that brighten the surrounding. The actual form is constant but the affect on the landscape is ever changing.

Nicole Beck is making her second appearance with LSE. Her works have appeared extensively in Chicago and throughout the U.S.
