Michael Brown to LSE for his fourth appearance. He uses lime-stone and creates intricate details within large pieces. The cuts that appear so dramatic from a distance are soothing upon closer inspection and you find yourself not overwhelmed, but very peaceful. Anasazi Gate incor-porates color into these 11 foot high pieces of Indiana Limestone. The neutral stone with its shocks of color add to the feeling of being in a place of tranquility.
Mike was born in northern England and has lived in Canada and the East Coast. He recently retired from teaching to devote all of his energies to sculpting. His work has been shown extensively throughout the United States.
