Triare the Trigger, an epoxy and copper sculpture originally produced for exhibit in Rome, Italy, is inspired by the finite human decision-making process of pulling the trigger of a gun. Triare, meaning “to pull” in Italian, recalls the sculptures Southern European origins. Its impressive size – 8 feet long, 4 feet wide and 8 feet high – juxtaposes the gravity of this human decision with the finite motion creating its outcome.
