Andrew Arvanetes, from Illinois, is a sculpture magician, creating wondrous apparitions. Andrew’s sculptures have a way of making your imagination set off. Arvanetes’ career of creating large, outdoor sculptures has yielded a whole menagerie of characters of which “Fly Away Home” is now a member.

In the abstract, his works are simply shining shapes, squares, triangles, saucers and circles. But viewed together and with some imagination, they are happy creatures, dancing to their own music.

With titles like “Fly Away Home,” “Once Around the Block,” and “Twist and Shout” it is clear that if Arvanetes’ sculptures could talk they’d tell all your troubles to bother you tomorrow.
