Richard Keibdaj has over 40 years of professional sculpture experience and throughout that period has experienced considerable professional success. Keibdaj is a multi-talented craftsman. He has worked in bronze, steel, stone, and wood.

“Ho-MA-ge”, a work from Keibdaj’s “cello series”, employs epoxy clad steel to create a sonorous experience. Keibdaj dedicated “Ho-MA-ge” to Yo-Yo Ma, the classical cellist. He intends to invoke the physiological sensations associated with hearing music while employing strictly visual mediums. The sculpture’s round and swirling melt of instruments and color depicts Ma’s music’s ability to calm and envelope the listener.
