Currently on the faculty at Clemson, Joey Manson spent his early years navigating the art world in New York City. Today, he uses industrial materials to depict our natural environment.
“Limits” is made using concrete, steel, and paint. At twelve feet tall, it becomes an exploration of our built environment and systems ecology.
Joey received his BFA from Clemson University and his MFA from Alfred University. He returns to CSE this year from Columbia, South Carolina.
