Dusty works with recycled steel – primarily in large rings. “Position” is a recognition of place within a family’s hierarchy. Each ring represents a member of her immediate family with the center ring representing herself being positioned differently from the others. This tall visual sculpture adds a modernity to the serene and classic lines that form the environment for this piece.
